The Executive
Sometimes after a tiring and stressful day at the office, having a smoke with a glass of Macallan and Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata serenading you is the perfect way to forget it all and just relax.

What about a pretty girl? Just saying
Happy New Year – great pics
You are absolutely right Liz. Shame on me! (covers face) Ahm, I don’t know how to really say this, but ahm… are you available for my next photo session??
Lol aww go on.. really..more
How are you my friend i miss you much…
um – I dunno. no life? lol sorry though I fell asleep, I think I got overwhelmed, Right now earlier rather I was playing catch up – can yhou believe that ? I had this big plan of getting ahead and not being behind anymore… didn;t work.
I know the feeling Liz. Playing catch up is the worst. I realised that the I was fighting a loosing battle, so i just STOP
I think that is where I am at – i am still trying to wrap up last year – and I think I will just let it go and start anew – I made a couple resolution this year – yes in January not May – and they kicked my butt before I got that far… great minds think alike btw I think we chose the same theme – I use this one for my art blog… have you seen it?
You have another blog? I didn’t know. You’re not keeping me informed!! <>
lol.. ok I apologize… here is the link http://lizziecracked.wordpress.com I have been working on art this past year… I wanted to be a photographer but um – i dont get all the technical stuff.. did you take classes or are you doing it by the seat of your pants very well either way i like your pictures that I have seen.. you have a good eye. do you miss writing?
“artsy brain fartsy” LOL!! I love your photos Liz. Well I watched A LOT of tutorials and learned the technical bits from a Stanford professor. I’m currently doing an online course with some photographers from the NYT. Yes I do miss writing sometimes. I think I will return in 2013!!
Yay! I hope so – I was thinking about you when I put my 2012 review post up because remember last year I sat and watched the fireworks for a really long time totally disappointed until I saw your report and realized you could scroll down
lol.. what a dork – one more thing so you can;t say I didn;t keep you in the loop
I wrote a book AND it has been published AND I did cover art for 8 that are published as well! I really like your pictures – the ones of people capture the moment / mood so well – I was looking for a book about digital photography but havent found one yet.. and I am just figuring out all the things like resolution and stuff – all of the ones that are on my blog were taken with my cell phone – but i got a “better” camera on my new phone – cept it doesn;t do as much as far as being able to adjust the settings for light and time and stuff… sounds like you are getting a solid foundation to work with and it shows in your photos.. you should put them for sale – on FineArtAmerica.com.. just aying if you are looking for a good place to display them and sell them check it out.. I have a page there its pretty cool what they can do…
oh wait – are the technical bits like second nature once you learn them so you still can “see” the shot from an artistic pov r is it more technical lights here and the subject there gotta do a 45 degree turn..? oh oops I am talking your eyes out
well you can always come back to it and I am just happy to see you…
Once you learn it and you go out and apply it, then it becomes second nature. Technical in the sense of knowing what gear to use to get the output you want. Calculating the power you will need if you bounce the flash for it to reach your subject etc. But, practice makes perfect still. What camera do you use?
Thank you for sharing my post.
And you, what an awesome self-portrait photo shoot! The way you spent your evening Mr. Executive….way cool. I checked out your facebook albums too, you are very gifted.
Cheers! I don’t usually say that, but everyone else does so I thought I’d try it on….really does nothing for me….but cheeers anyway. Hahaha
Thank you. An hour well spent – time does fly when you’re having fun!
Thanks for the compliments, you are too kind. “Cheers” mate LOL
btw…<> did you…ahm…like my facebook page?? <>
I loved it, but I didn’t hit the like button. But only because I keep my facebook account reserved for people I know personally.
But I have been thinking about starting a seperate one to run along side my blog….then I would most certainly like your fb page!
Nice pics!
Please tell me the tie is loosened while relaxing.
LOL…of course brother!
I take it you’re a fellow fashion buff as well
